Singapore, city in the jungle

Muggy is probably the right word to describe the weather in Singapore. Sometimes it's hard to be outside although there are quite a few amazing things to see. Occasionally the scenery changes instantly from urban to jungle or the jungle grows in the city...however you wanna put it ;)

Here in Singapore I couchsurfed the first time and had a very good start. My Muslim hosts were really nice and I felt welcome over the whole stay. So I learned a few things about the Islam and my tourguide Mustafa made exploring the surrounding much easier.

With this last impression my journey and this blog seems to end finally. I met a lot of interesting people and hope I gonna keep in touch with at least a few of them. Soon there is payback time! :) My impression is that there are many well meant people out there who try to help and support you wherever they can as long as you have a common sense!

I've seen a lot of beautiful sceneries which hopefully gonna last in my head for the rest of my life. Altogether I would say I had a lot of luck while traveling since I never really had problems with my lovely van(miss u ;), found work whenever I ran out of money(thanks Ian!!!) and most important of all, stayed healthy over the whole year! Hope this goes on =)
